How does the miradry® treatment work?
First, the treatment area is marked with a special template. Then, a local anesthetic is injected using fine needles so that you feel no pain during the treatment.
The actual treatment is then carried out using the miraDry® device, which sucks the skin in using vacuum suction, cools the surface layers, and heats the layer containing the sweat glands. This permanently and safely destroys the sweat glands without damaging other structures. The effect of the treatment is immediate.

Miradry sweat gland treatment uses a microwave procedure. This procedure also destroys the hair follicles in the armpits. Hair growth in the armpits is therefore also reduced as a nice side effect of the microwave technology.
