Needling | Vampire Lift
The skin booster with autologous blood plasma
If you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your facial skin because it has lost its elasticity and is therefore sagging, then medical needling or a “vampire lift” may be right for you. Needling can also be used to successfully treat acne scars, large pores, or small wrinkles. This procedure can help your skin regain the radiance of your smile.
Medical needling is an excellent procedure for restoring your skin’s radiance through cell renewal and collagen regeneration. Using a Dermapen® equipped with ultra-fine needles, tiny puncture channels are created in the upper layers of the skin with minimal pressure and high frequency, which close again immediately. This stimulus triggers strong collagen regeneration and stimulates the body’s own repair mechanisms, which then produce improved skin structure and quality.

Vampire facelift: The skin booster with autologous blood plasma
The innovative PRP treatment, also known as “vampire facelift,” combines medical needling with the introduction of autologous blood plasma into the skin and is not only very popular with celebrities. This anti-aging method gives your skin a fresh complexion, reduces wrinkles, and refines the pores. Sounds promising? It is! The three letters PRP stand for “platelet-rich plasma,” which is obtained through a simple blood draw.
This method makes the skin look fresher, reduces wrinkles, and visibly refines the pores. As a rule, three treatments at six-week intervals are recommended to improve the skin structure.
We take the time to answer your questions, address your wishes and concerns, and provide you with transparent information about the opportunities, risks, and possible complications.
Make an appointment nowWhat can be achieved with needling or a vampire facelift?
Medical needling and vampire facelifts offer the possibility of visibly improving skin that has lost elasticity and is therefore sagging, giving it a rejuvenating treatment. Scars, such as acne scars, large-pored skin, and small wrinkles can be successfully treated with scientifically proven methods. This effect is partly based on the stimulation of fibroblasts and the resulting formation of new, higher-quality connective tissue components.
If, as with vampire lifting, platelet-rich plasma is also introduced into the skin using needling, the body’s own regeneration mechanisms are activated and the formation of new collagen fibers is stimulated even more strongly. In addition, the platelet-rich plasma obtained can be injected by the doctor directly under facial lines and wrinkles or, for example, into the creases on the lower eyelids.
The effects of such a treatment build up over the following weeks and months, so that your skin will continue to improve for a long time to come. For an immediately visible effect, we can also supplement the treatment with a particularly finely cross-linked hyaluronic acid treatment, a so-called hyaluronic skin booster.
What happens after the needling treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, the treated area will still be reddened (for 2-3 days, depending on your reaction). In rare cases, minor bruising may be visible and slight swelling may occur. We will be happy to recommend optimal care to further improve your results. Once the redness has disappeared after a short time, you will already see the first effects: your skin will glow and look youthfully fresh!
After about four weeks, the growth factors in PRP will cause cell renewal, further smoothing the skin. This process takes several weeks, so your results will continue to improve. To achieve optimal results, we recommend repeating this treatment 2-3 times initially.
After that, a refresher treatment once a year is advisable to maintain your fresh and youthful complexion in the long term. If desired, the treatment can be combined with a hyaluronic skin booster to achieve maximum effect. We would be happy to advise you personally at our private clinic in Duesseldorf’s Medienhafen.
How often can medical needling be repeated?
A significant improvement in the skin is visible after just one treatment. For complete restructuring and rejuvenation of your skin, 3 treatments are usually necessary, and 3 to 5 treatments are necessary for acne scars, with an interval of 1 to 3 months between treatments.
The formation of new collagen fibers can take up to a year. During this time, a constant improvement in the skin structure can be observed. Therefore, the final result can be assessed after 12 to 24 weeks at the earliest.
Who is the needling method suitable for?
In principle, this method is suitable for people who are dissatisfied with their skin condition and suffer from enlarged pores, sagging skin, acne scars, and premature skin aging due to sun damage. If you would like to refine your complexion and rejuvenate your skin, needling or vampire lifting can help. These procedures are also suitable for treating fine lines and tightening the skin, as well as for scar therapy.
