Hybrid breast augmentation - natural results with implants & autologous fat
The up-to-date method for gentle breast augmentation for a natural look and refinement of silhouette
You wish for a feminine, naturally looking neckline and would like to get rid of small fat pads at the same time? Hybrid breast augmentation combines the advantages of silicone implants with the body’s own fat tissue (autologous fat) and therefore offers a particularly harmonious solution.
Fat cells – for example from the abdomen or thighs – are removed during liposuction and then inserted into the breast tissue. The volume build-up is supplemented by a modern implant. The result: a soft, very natural-looking breast with improved coverage by the body’s own tissue.

Make an appointment nowWhat are the advantages of hybrid breast augmentation?
A major advantage of hybrid breast augmentation is that the implant used can generally be smaller than in a classic breast augmentation without autologous fat. This reduces the overall weight and therefore the risk of implant-related complications – especially in the long term.
The additional coverage by the body’s own fatty tissue also ensures a softer feel and a more natural look. The risk of visible or palpable implant edges and so-called “rippling” – a wrinkling of the skin over the implant – is significantly reduced. This phenomenon occurs particularly in very slim patients when the implant lies directly on the large breast muscle.
The procedure is particularly suitable for athletic patients or those with slight breast asymmetry. It combines aesthetics, naturalness and a lower risk of complications – a clear advantage over purely implant-based procedures.
How does hybrid breast augmentation work?
Before the operation, you will have a detailed consultation with our specialists to discuss your wishes, the appropriate implant size and possible donor sites for the autologous (your own) fat.
On the day of the operation, fat cells are first removed – usually from the abdomen, hips or thighs. The implant is then inserted, and the processed autologous fat is precisely placed in the breast tissue.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and takes about two hours. You will usually stay in our clinic overnight for observation. You will be able to socialize after about a week, but should refrain from sport for about four weeks.
Which implant positionings are possible with this combined method?
The combination of a silicone implant and autologous fat transfer (lipofilling) can be used flexibly – both for an implant position under the large pectoral muscle and for so-called subfascial positioning, where the implant is placed under the large pectoral muscle.
In lipofilling, an average of 100 to 300 ml of fat is injected per breast, of which around 60 to 70 percent remains permanently in the tissue. The fat cells are taken from the abdomen or thighs, depending on the individual findings.
If additional volume is desired after the first treatment, the autologous fat transfer can be repeated at a later date. If desired, fat harvesting can also be combined with cosmetic liposuction.
Who is hybrid breast augmentation particularly suitable for?
Hybrid breast augmentation is particularly suitable for athletic patients who want a natural-looking, moderate breast augmentation with short recovery time.
As a rule, you can go back to work after about a week. You should take a break from sporting activities and fitness training for about four weeks and then resume your fitness routine slowly.
What are the risks of hybrid breast augmentation?
The combination of silicone implants and autologous fat transfer is considered a low-risk procedure in plastic aesthetic surgery – provided it is performed by an experienced specialist.
Each of our medical specialists has around 20 years of experience in breast surgery and specializes in plastic and aesthetic procedures.
As with any surgical procedure, there are general and specific risks associated with hybrid breast augmentation. In a personal consultation, we will provide you with comprehensive information about possible complications and individual risk factors.
We will answer your questions in detail during a non-binding initial consultation.
