Buttock, thigh, and upper arm lift:

But no matter which option you choose, the result of any body lift is more elastic, firmer skin and an overall younger, more vital, and more active appearance.

Upper arm lift

At our private clinic in Duesseldorf’s Medienhafen, we usually perform upper arm lifts on an outpatient basis and in combination with liposuction of the excess tissue. An upper arm lift surgery takes between one and two hours.

The excess skin and underlying fatty tissue are removed. After a successful procedure, the wound is sutured in a cosmetically inconspicuous manner. The resulting linear scar is located on the inner side of the upper arm.

Even if a scar remains after the surgery, it is not visible, especially when the arm is bent.

Thigh lift

A thigh lift usually only requires a vertical incision on the inner thigh. This incision runs similarly to the seam on the inside of the thigh.

We usually combine the lifting of the thigh skin with liposuction. This serves to improve the contour and allows excess skin to be removed without damaging sensitive lymphatic vessels.

We perform this procedure under general anesthesia during a short inpatient stay of one to two days. The surgery takes about two hours.

Butt lift

For a butt lift (posterior lower body lift), you will need to plan for a short inpatient stay of one to two days at our partner clinic. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and takes about one to two hours.

The incision is hidden along the buttocks. The resulting scars are barely visible and disappear under a bikini or swimsuit.

Here, too, our patients benefit from additional liposuction, which we use to further shape the body silhouette.

After a facelift, we recommend a short stay of one to two days in our private clinic. You will experience a feeling of tension in the operated area. However, this is completely normal and should not cause you any concern.

You should wear a compression garment for approximately six weeks after successful surgery. We also strongly recommend that you take it easy after your stay in the clinic. This will help your tissue to heal undisturbed. You should also avoid exposing the scars that are still healing to sunlight for approximately six months after the body lift so that they remain discreet and light in color.

Since the wounds are closed with self-dissolving suture material, no suture removal is necessary. The scars are initially reddened, but fade over time and are usually very inconspicuous.

Depending on your lifestyle (healthy diet, no smoking, and avoiding strong sunlight), you can benefit from the results of a skin lift practically for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, even excellent results from a body lift can be reduced in their permanence by significant weight gain, pregnancy, or an accelerated aging process caused by strong sunlight and smoking.
