Brazilian butt lift:

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, as local anesthetics should not be used during the removal of autologous fat in order to avoid additional damage to the highly sensitive fat cells and to achieve optimal results. Depending on the amount of fat removed and the location of the fat deposits, the buttock augmentation takes approximately 2-4 hours. The fat is removed using a particularly gentle liposuction procedure and specially prepared (BEAULI technique) so that pure fat cells are available for transplantation.

The fat is inserted through small incisions using a blunt cannula to shape the buttocks. We inject the fat exclusively into the subcutaneous tissue and completely avoid the muscle. This is the only way to ensure the highest possible safety of the procedure!

At the end of the surgery, you will be fitted with special compression pants. These have a recess at the buttocks so as not to exert any pressure on the sensitive fat cells. An overnight stay in the hospital is recommended.

After a butt lift, you should avoid putting pressure on your buttocks for the first 20 days e.g. long periods of sitting (long car journeys, flights, etc.) in order to protect the transplanted fat tissue. You should sleep on your stomach during this time. Depending on your occupation, you should plan for approximately 2 weeks of downtime. As with liposuction, the special compression garment must be worn day and night for 6 weeks after the surgery. Light exercise is permitted again after 6 weeks.

The durability of transplanted fat tissue is guaranteed if the transplanted fat cells can heal undisturbed. With the technique we use, approximately 70% of the transplanted fat can heal. The healing process takes place in the first two to four weeks after the surgery. Therefore, as little pressure as possible should be exerted on the affected areas during this time.

The results of the surgery can be considered stable after about four weeks. In the areas where fat was removed, the final results can be expected after about 4-6 months, as the tissue and skin undergo a slightly longer phase of regression and swelling. We recommend amounts of 200 ml of fat per side for moderate augmentation. Amounts of around 400-800 ml per side are optimal for achieving a clearly visible difference in volume.

If there is not enough fat tissue available for buttock augmentation using autologous fat, gaining a few kilograms in advance may help. If this is not possible or desirable, alternatives should be considered.

The cost of this procedure depends on the overall effort involved, the extent of liposuction required to obtain the autologous fat, and other factors.
