Cosmetic surgery is often a costly affair, even though it is priceless for your self-esteem. Health insurance companies often cover only a very small portion of the costs incurred, if any at all. Many patients are unaware that it is possible to have their treatment financed.

In this context, financing is available starting from as little as €250. Subsequently, billing is handled directly with the financing provider – you don’t need to worry about anything else.

The basic requirements for granting a loan are legal age, primary residence in Germany, a positive SCHUFA credit rating, and proof of regular income from employment or a pension. Trainees, students, and housewives have the option of adding an additonal person (e.g., a parent or spouse) as a second borrower.

What is covered by medassure beauty?

Complications that occur during or after the insured surgery are covered.

For breast implants, replacement of the implants due to:

• Capsular fibrosis (Baker Grade III C IV)
• Implant displacement (dislocation/bottoming out, including resulting asymmetries)
• Implant rotation (including resulting asymmetry)
• Infections

For lifting surgeries and liposuction:

• Punctures due to wound fluids (seromas)
• Surgical wound revisions due to wound healing disorders, infections, necrosis

There are no time limits for inpatient stays (including private clinics) for treatments and/or surgeries. Complications due to an accident are also insured.

What is not covered?

• Dissatisfaction with the result that is based solely on subjective feelings
• Complications from self-inflicted injuries
• Numbness
• Complications that heal within 14 days without medical intervention

How much does insurance with medassure beauty cost?

The premiums listed below apply to medassure beauty, subject to current changes by the insurance provider. If you combine several types of treatment, you pay a flat rate of € 50,- for all additional procedures from the second onwards—regardless of whether two or three treatments are performed during the surgery.

As we are a state-licensed private clinic (pursuant to Section 30 of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO)), patients with statutory health insurance can currently only be treated after submitting an individual application and receiving approval from their health insurance provider.
We are, of course, happy to assist our patients with the written application process.

If you do not receive confirmation of coverage from your health insurance provider, you are of course welcome to receive treatment from us as a self-pay patient.
